As Anti-Slavery Day approaches on Wednesday 18th October, The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover, has made a public commitment to keep raising awareness of modern slavery.
She spoke powerfully about her desire to "speak to at least ten new people asking them to challenge respectfully the issues around modern day slavery that impacts, in particular, those who are vulnerable such as refugees and asylum seekers."
This pledge is part of The Clewer Initiative's "Do One Thing" campaign for Anti-Slavery Day. Bishop Rose joins the Archbishop of York and other clergy in throwing her weight behind the campaign.
