As part of this, we are establishing a new structure of Episcopal Patrons, a Clewer Council and a Trustee body.
In the last month, 12 Bishops have agreed to become our patrons. This has involved signing the following pledge:
We recognise The Clewer Initiative is a key contributor from the churches in the fight against the evils of modern slavery. We pledge our support for its work, and encourage all sections of the church to be open to making an appropriate contribution to this ministry of noticing the unnoticed and offering support and new life to vulnerable victims.
