About this resource
The new resource and poster set below is designed as a helpful way to share information about modern slavery and labour exploitation in rural areas. The resource can also be used as a stand-alone training package.
The resource covers the following aspects of modern slavery and exploitation in rural areas:
- The basics of key rural issues
- Types of modern slavery and exploitation
- Signs to look out for and who can look out for them
- How you can raise awareness and report concerns.
Reporting your concerns
It is vital to report any concerns you might have about potential cases of modern slavery and exploitation to one of the following agencies:
- Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority, 0800 432 0804
- Modern Slavery Helpline, 08000 121 700
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
